We operates the Rewire: Focus & Control mobile application. Your privacy is our priority. This policy explains how we handle your data with a "Local-First" approach.
We believe that your recovery and focus journey is private.
Personal Behavioral Data: Data such as your "Current Streak," "Urges Defeated" counts, and "Trigger Logs" are stored locally on your device using industry-standard storage (SharedPreferences).
Sensitive Content: We do not upload your logs or behavioral history to any external servers.
Pro Features: If you use "Night Lock" or "Content Blocker," these settings are also stored locally to manage application logic.
To provide our core "Neural Shielding" services, the app may request:
Accessibility Service (Optional): Used only for the "Content Blocker" to detect and intercept sensitive keywords or apps defined by the user. We do not collect or monitor your keystrokes or private messages.
System Notifications: Used to provide reminders and "Emergency" alerts.
We use reputable third-party services for app functionality:
Google Play Services/Billing: To handle your "Pro" subscription securely ($29.99/year). Your payment information is processed by Google; we never see your credit card details.
Local Data: You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the app's cache/data in your phone settings or by uninstalling the app.
No Cloud Tracking: Since we do not use a centralized login system (in the MVP version), we cannot "see" or "delete" your data from a remote server, as it resides only on your device.
Our services are not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect identifiable information from children.
